Zero Zero Sette – Like a Thing unfirm

con l’artista Jane Maria Petersen.

The exhibition title “Zero Zero Sette – Like a Thing unfirm”, refers to a quote from the tradegy “Julius Caesar” by Shakespeare as well as the famous british agent 007 recently shooting in Rome. “Things” defined as unfirm subject matters such as the ephemeral, relationships or time travels are humorously present in Jane Maria Petersen artworks. To put it summarizing: The artist uses her poetic license to indulge in inspiration without questioning the demand of delightful sidetracks into the art world and the many sources of continual inspiration from the eternal city and beyond.
Most of the works are made in Rome this year at the same time of the shooting of the new James Bond movie, consequently the swift changes of motifs, scenery, locations and setting of ideas will be a narrative key for the entire exhibit. The works on display will be drawings, collages, embroidery and etchings.
