The Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx) investigates the role and impact of architecture in our lives and the world we live in. Each year, the festival explores and presents ideas on the relation between the architectural world and human life through a broad public program of talks, films, performances, workshops, seminars and exhibitions in collaboration with various institutions and (inter)national partners.
3rd of May 21.30 pm at Cinemateket: “SuperDesign” by Italian Francesca Molteni
SuperDesign
A RETROSPECTIVE DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE ITALIAN RADICAL MOVEMENT, AS EXPLAINED BY ITS PROTAGONISTS OF RATHER ECCENTRIC HIPPIES AND REVOLUTIONARIES.
During the 1968 Italian social unrest, a group of passionately engaged Italian students banded together to rattle the architectural, artistic and cultural world. They drew attention from far beyond the limits of the Italian border through fantastic and dogma-breaking productions and publications. Fresh and determined, they started questioning the profession and the responsibility of architects and actively shaped a profoundly renewed society.
