Metro Service is a private company that handles the operation and maintenance of the Metro in Copenhagen and the operation of the Light Rail around Copenhagen. Our work is based on more than 700 committed employees in Denmark, who make an extraordinary effort every day, so the passengers arrive safely and on time. We are a growing company, and every month we welcome new colleagues who want to work to deliver good customer experiences, handle complex technical systems, and ensure high operational reliability.
Metro Service has been chosen to operate the Light Rail around Copenhagen. We will manage train operations and prepare the trains in our control and maintenance centre, and our new light rail operators will drive the trains while servicing passengers in the same professional manner as our stewards do in the Metro today. We look forward to the 29 light rail trains being ready to go, filled with passengers and with full steam ahead.
Metro Service is a joint venture between the two international companies ATM and Hitachi Rail. This means that our company rests on a solid financial foundation and know-how from a network of thousands of engaged colleagues.
